W2P-HERA (Spanish acronym for hybridization of renewable energy and aquaculture) is a project that seeks to apply the knowledge of the partners involved in order to develop the multipurpose solutions of W2Power technology, in its version with aquaculture and substation, as well as to obtain a design that allows the manufacture, use and survival of the structure at a scale close to commercial. The partners in the project, who belong to the Spanish industrial sector, seek to develop their activity through research and technological development.
GOALS:
- Development of a version with an integrated substation
- Optimization of key structural elements of the W2Power platform: towers and heave plates
- Integration of an aquaculture cage on the W2Power platform
